We chose this cruise from Venice for the itinerary. We were not disappointed with the ports of call, the weather was lovely and we had an all inclusive bar. That though, unfortunately, were the only good points.

The food is absolutely dreadful - we are not fussy eaters, and normally on a cruise ship you have difficulty in choosing, as all food is excellent. This time, all the food was poor - awful bacon, fatty meat, frozen mixed veg (when you managed to find veg which was sometimes difficult), same cold desserts (no hot puds at all) and tired looking salads. No coffee served after dinner - this meant you had to relocate to a bar if you wanted coffee or tea. Hygiene on board left a lot to be desired - very few handwashing stations at restaurants, and when you found one, they were normally empty.

Entertainment in theatres was very repetitive - just different costumes and dance routines, but all the same people. No visiting guest acts. Same entertainment in all bars each night. Very few quizzes and no speakers. Just lots of noisy 'so called' entertainment from the entertainment team, including dodgy near the knuckle games on deck and in the bar during the evening.
