What a beautiful country to visit. This was our 10th Viking Cruise and as always we had a great time. The boat though ok was NOT up to Viking standards though Russia tells them what boats they can use. The ship was a 90 era boat that was updated a couple years ago. But still a 90's boat. The stairways were very steap and hard to go up and down. Only one public bathroom on the whole boat so if you get the urge you could have a long walk. So spending the evening having drinks in the bar or up on deck it can be a long ways back to your room. The other thing I didn't care about was the internet. Good if you were the only one on the boat which I was a couple times but the other times was terrible. One other thing was at lots of ports we had boats tied to us and sometimes on both sides of us which completely blocks your view. When in the 2 main ports at beginning and end of cruise for about 3 days each if you paid big bucks for a balcony you wasted your money if ship next to you within inches. I'm not posting this to talk you out of the trip just in the hope Viking can get a new boat somehow. If I could afford it I'd go again but still have a few other Viking trips to take. We have paid for another one over Xmas and 2vbext year so we love Viking.
Our cabin was just the standard cabin but we didn't spend much time in it. We have been in about all the different cabins on Viking boats and this one was fine.
