We chose this particular cruise primarily and specifically because it coincided with our 50th wedding anniversary. The embarkation process at Southampton was first class, so simple and easy. Bags collected from the car park and reappeared at our cabin door before we set sail.
The Aquaclass cabin (1584) on deck 11 was good and very comfortable .... but not great. Well used and a little tired may be an apt description. bathroom, toilet facilities and shower were very good and always kept clean and tidy. We are used to better hotel accomodation when doing city breaks.
We dined in Blu and we were very impressed with the quality and variety of the menu, the service was faultless, the staff friendly and helpful. Twelve out of ten from us. We tried Murano one evening (on our anniversary) .... also excellent but didn't justify the additional $35 per person. The sommeliers in Blu deserve a special mention ..... great.
