Fantastic huge aft facing balcony above the stern bar, with 180 degree view (although those above on deck 12 can see last 1/3 of balcony. Perfect for an Alaskan cruise. Also provides rapid access to stern bar and deck 12 via external stairs. But, you can here the cinema above, sometimes as late as 11:30pm, especially with balcony door open.

Room was tired looking. Stained sofa and surfaces, worn furniture, same applied to bathroom. Absolutely not 4 start, barely 3 star. Stateroom attendant very average.

Loved Vancouver. So much to see and do. A world-class city, with a spectacular setting.

Bear watching with a real Tlingit clan leader. We were lucky to see several bears, both at the river, and a mother and cubs at the coast. Loved Hoonah and Icy strait - the real deal, and very well done

I was worried Meldenhall would be too similar to the Hubbard Glacier, but not so. Yes a glacier, but the whole park experience - seeing the Salmon running, the beautiful walks out to the falls and observation point and the lake and mountains

A great experience, although dampened by low cloud and rain. Great walking at the top, and a first class visitor experience in terms of the shows and being able to see a bald EAgle up close.

Misty Fiords by fast Catamaran. A really great local operator, they gave great insights into the local area. A long way to get to Mist fiords but well worth it. Imagine similar rock formations and mountain scenery to Yosemite Valley, but seen from a narrow fior. Really awe inspiring (and they gave us soup, donuts and a taste of local cured Salmon.

Overall, with some exceptions, the worst Celebrity cruise (and we have done five now) we have had.The Good:

Great ports of call, incredible scenery: I would do an Alaskan cruise again

Blu (Aquaclass) restaurant - food and staff excellent

Production quality of shows and singers, dancers and acrobats excellent

Cafe Baci and the Martini bar as great as ever

The Bad:

Very tired and worn staterooms

More crowded than Millennium class used to be
