We usually leave out of Florida but decided to leave from NJ on Anthem. The line of cars to get dropped off took forever, butter organized in FLA. The Luggage stewards would not take husbands golf clubs which were in a carry bag designed for travel, no problems in FLA. I think depends on whom you get, not even by tipping, so therefore no tip was given. Husband had to carry from garage. Even Security and such asked why he was carrying them... no standard procedure. Once through security go right on ship and cabins were ready by 1:30pm. Cabin #7628 Steward Joseph Ong was very nice and accomadating to us. The way to Bermuda weather wasn't very good so North Star, Pools, shows were closed and cancelled, but they did try there best to give you a chance to do them once weather was nice. The Main dinner room was the typical food and wait staff were good, sat in the silk twice and was very nice. The windjammer food was one of the best we have encountered and spent time eating in there more than not. Spa was smaller than anticipated and you had to go outdoors to pool area to go to the restroom and in lobby to cross to check out...couldn't figure that out. Spa treatment itself was very nice and I only had to say it once I was not interested in their products, which is a plus. Figuring out where the bathrooms were on the floors was the most daunting task, plus always smelled like urine, took a while to figure out where they were located, Shows were great The two70 is really impresive. My husband went on their golfing excursion and was a little disappointed that to and from was not included in the price, he has now learned to book his own. I enjoyed the Indoor Pool area, nice relaxing ( I don't swim and we use the cruises for relaxation time) That being said I was not really inpressed and therefore did not use the Royal APP. I figure it is a place to get away from all that and relax, with the app you saw more people on their phones and even the waiters commented on how some guests were on there phone more than usual. All and all a very nice cruise and would sail again on ship. Even though we are true Oasis of The Sea lovers....Been on Oasis 3 times, Harmony once, Explorer Twice and booked for Symphony of the seas out of Barcelona next year.
