I had been on the same cruise twice before but wanted to share the beauty of Alaska with 9 other family members...eight of which had never cruised before. The weather, the wildlife, the ship and the crew did not let us down. It was a truly wonderful week.

Harv and Marv's was a great choice in Juneau for whale watching. My only regret was seeing the continuing regression of the Mendenhall Glacier from when I last saw it only three years ago. Likewise, the Chilkoot bus/train tour choice out of Skagway was beyond words. I'd never done the train ride from Fraser before but it is not to be missed. Absolutely breathtaking. Baranof Fishing out of Ketchikan was remarkable with plenty of salmon now in my freezer. Nothing compares to the beauty of Glacier Bay. Victoria....no desire to even get off the ship.

I love the Pearl. It is a very comfortable ship with an extremely friendly crew. Thanks to Noemi, Jennifer, Jomel and Judy for taking such good care of us and being so kind. They made our week very special.

Very nice, comfortable accommodations. The early 2017 refurbishments are very nice.
