We suffered two flight cancelations and miss-directed luggage traveling to Barcelona. However, the bags arrived at our hotel the following morning, and a wonderful vacation was had by all. Great ship and staff. My grandkids (20 & 17) loved every day. Only negatives were crowded buffet with average food. Wait staff and food in main dinning room were outstanding. We spent three days at the Hilton in Barcelona before the cruise and that was time well spent. The Hop on Hop Off Bus made seeing the city's attractions easy. RC does a fine job with embarkation/disembarkation for such a large ship. We had a Grand Suite which I would recommend. Favorite port was Naples for the Amalfi Coast. Getting used to such a large ship took some time, and my wife and I prefer smaller ships. But for the seven of us there was always something to do, and the entertainment was very good. Would we go again? If it was just my wife and I we would choose a more intimate ship. If it was the entire family or a large group, we would chooseThe Freedom of the Seas again.

Loved the Grand Suite. Spacious with a great balcony, plenty of closets and large bathroom with tub and shower.
