We have been on Royal Caribbean, thought we'd try Princess, with family of nine.flew from Chicago to Seattle to catch ship, good flight, princess people meet you at airport and show you transfer to hotel, speedy shuttle, bad! Stops at every hotel in Seattle, take a cab.

Told by travel agent and Princess we would board ship at 2:00.hotel people said shuttle to ship leaves at11:00ama asked why,we were told we would be having lunch on ship by noon, this was true.embarking very smooth, easier if you have passports.Ship nicer than RC,lounges nicer too, buffet small and busy for lunch on embarkation day,eat before you get on.Saw a whale and seal on first day,pub lunch at Crown Grill very nice, free, breakfasts very good in main dinning .Afternoon tea, very noisy, not elegant, not Harrods of London.
