I was only on a 2-day cruise from Southampton to Hamburg, but I got a good feel for the ship. It has some really nice updates, and the smaller size is nice. When I say it's smaller, I'm comparing it to the Epic. I've been generally happy with food on NCL cruises, but I felt like it was generally a bit better on this ship. Since this was an unusual (and short) itinerary, I was fortunate enough to upgrade to a Penthouse Suite with Balcony, and it was absolutely beautiful. The aft-facing balcony was fantastic. The VIP treatment that came with being in a Suite was also very nice. I didn't want to leave any of it! My only complaint was the entertainment. I'm a pretty tough critic of singers since I am a voice teacher and singer myself, but I thought the singing was the worst I have heard on a cruise ship. I really wanted to help the people! That is really my only complaint, though, and I would definitely go on the Jade again!

Penthouse with Large Balcony

The stateroom was really beautiful! It was so spacious, and the balcony was amazing. It was really nice to have treats waiting for me, like sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries. The shower was also large and wonderful!
