This was our very first cruise so we have nothing to compare it to, but we were pleased. We had an inside cabin which worked out fine. It was dark and easier to sleep. Cagney's Steakhouse was so delicious. O'Sheehans had a great breakfast menu. We would watch the sun rise here most mornings. Be sure to visit the observation room to check out the people navigating the ship. Don't skimp on excursions. They are pricey but worth it. It only rained on us one day which made for a better trip. We saw whales bubble net feeding in Juneau. Kayaking and riding the White Pass Railroad were unforgetable in Skagway. Hands down our favorite excursion was flightseeing in Ketchikan - well worth the price. Sign up for the Behind the Scenes Tour of the Ship - $75. It's fascinating to see the belly of the beast. I highly recommend this Alaskan cruise.

Victoria

Such a pretty city. Walk to fisherman's wharf and take a water taxi to the shopping district.
