Well..where shall I start...

My first experience with NCL was in 2001 on the NCL Sky. Perfect vacation cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on a brand new ship. Private dining, same table every night, same waiter, same maître d', same bussboy and same bartender. Pre freestyle....

Second experience was NCL Pride of America in Hawaii. Beautiful ship, well laid out, did specialty dining every night to avoid the freestyle concept. Not quite private dining but acceptable. Stateroom was comfortable, large vanity space in bathroom and plenty of room to use the toilet. Crew was all American. They all worked very hard to please you and bent over backwards for you. With this in mind as the cruising standard for NCL, we decided to go to Alaska. Nothing could be farther from the truth. We have been treated better on Carnival.

Balcony

Cabin BB

The balcony (BB) staterooms are ok but the bathrooms are horrible. Large shower for a ship but no vanity space and the toilet area is too small for a grown man to use seated. The public bathrooms were used to avoid this. (I'm trying to be delicate. You know what I mean here.)
