My first ocean cruise and took advice from friend. Boat was lovely and accommodation was good plenty of room,, launderette was very handy,. staff were great and so was food in the restaurants and right size portions, instead of dishing up huge amount after all there were three courses and staff were happy to give you two instead of one dish if you asked.. We were lucky we had lovely dinner companions and we got on so well and hopefully we will keep in touch..Enjoyed the activities and the shows we saw, some were excellent.. Disappointed in the Horizons in general avoided when we could, too crowded at times, Had roast meats but no veg in fact veg was very scarce at most meals no roast potatoes were available offered french fries really with roast!! There was a decent selection but some looked very unappetising matter of individual likes I guess. Did have a nice pastry selection. Staff were attentive and certainly worked very hard

People were overfilling their plates to the extreme which puts me off when I see so much greed, Was pleased they changed it so the staff dealt it out, thank goodness they got on top of the nova virus so quickly they had to be congratulated for that

My only comment on the shore trips (which are inclusive on some river cruises which means the overall cost is cheaper) some were very rushed Some of the guides were not as knowledable as others I have come across, the also streaked ahead some of us could not keep up, and without the wireless accessories made if virtually impossible to hear them when walking unless you were up front and some had no lollipop sticks to follow. also they made no allowances for people with limited mobility or aged that could not keep up. One guide was so unaware left people with walking sticks down the bottom of stairs before one of the group ran up to remind her and she radioed someone to show us where the elevator was.Photo stops were not always possible or enough time.

Cabin was reasonable size although shower area etc could have been a bit bigger

Wardrobe ample although didn't take all out of cases(was going onto UK for three weeks)
