Windjammer...

The Windjammer buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner was amazing. My family and I preferred to eat there over the My Time Dinning restaurants; way more to choose from and more kid friendly selections. The My Time Dinning restaurants are nice but offered the exact same selections for kids every day. Their menu never changed and neither did my kids. So after they had the same dinner two nights in a row at two different restaurants, we stuck with the Windjammer. The Game Shows and competitions are by far the best kind of entertainment. Not sure why I didn't see anyone mention it when I was searching reviews. I got a chance to be on an Adult game show which was hilarious and there were others. Anything guests could be part of was the most fun. Even the kids could compete in things like the Lip Sync competition and Karaoke. If you're traveling with children, those things were way better than the 3 shows they promote like The Gift, Spectras Cabaret > (FYI- Has nothing to do with James Bond) and We Will Rock You. Those shows are not that entertaining for kids beyond a few special effects. Take advantage of the shows you can't reserve in advance. Those are the good ones!

Also: The kids club is cool but more like a daycare for kids 5 and under. My 9 year old had way more fun than my 5 and they are grouped by age so they couldn't be together. They were grouped 3-5, 6-8, 9-11 etc... Parents get a little cell phone for kids 3 and under so they can stay in contact... (if any are left) but I had no way of knowing if my little one was ok unless I called or went to check on her. When I asked how I would know if she wanted to leave, I was told they would call my state room. But most parents aren't going to be sitting in their rooms when they drop their kids off. Mine just sat and colored and wasn't interested in their games. After 10pm... It's $7 per hour, per child to keep them there but we only used the club from 7:30-9:30pm. Most kids are gone by 10pm so it would be pretty lonely for any child who isn't already sleeping. They just watch movies after 10pm.

Tip: check your credit card charges at Guest Services after maybe the 2nd day or after excursions. The gratuity charges are "per person, (kids included) per day" and add up FAST. You can spend $300+ easy in just gratuity. Add excursions to that and do the math.

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

I would give 5 stars if there were an iron in the room. We had no way to press our clothes. The only option was to send it to dry cleaning (for a fee and extra $ for same day service).
