The crew is very attentive and hard working. Older ship is kept looking very good for its age. Cabins are in need of update but are o.k. some venues are too small such as jekyl and Hyde club. Overall it is what carnival advertises, a short, fun trip. Make sure to research excursions and book asfreeport and Nassau are must fleamarkets with bars if you don't make other plans. Embarkation is painfull due to jax port set up. For debarkation patiently wait your turn and its about ten minutes from when the call your deck or zone till you are outside, try to rush upfront a d the whole system gets screwed. Listen to directions. Food: its OK, lido almost always has something out and resturaunt meals are fun, try something you would not normally order,if you like something order two or three. Note: the crew of Elation is wonderful, friendly and responsive, especially housekeeping and food service. Our leadwaiter Hugo was a blast. Relax, laugh at the little hiccups (our toilet started "singing" one night for about an hour) , enjoy the ocean air, decent in!limited food and play along in games and sing alongs. I felt like we got our moneys worth. We are gonna try celebrity next.

Dated but kept clean by very good staff. Beds are so-so . ship goes into drydock soon so hopefully they will update rooms. Note:only one outlet in room. Note: aft rooms can be loud when departing or arriving import.

Port Reviews

Freeport

Shops with crappy prices and junk. Book an excursion.

Nassau

Book an excursion, buy your duty free booze on the ship its a better deal.
