This is our third seven day cruise on NCL. On our last cruise we took advantage of the book onboard promotion.

Overall our experience with NCL was good and what we expected. We departed on June 4th headed to Bermuda. Boarding the ship in New York went smoothly and we quickly boarded the boat. We purchased the 4 night speciality dining package and alcohol package.

Room - We had an AFT balcony on the 12th floor. We enjoy the much larger balcony and view. However, be aware that the nightclub is right above these rooms. The party stops about 1 am. If you go to bed early on vacation, you'll want to avoid the 12th deck AFT. Also, I suggest NCL install smoke detectors just outside the balcony doors. Smoking on the balcony is prohibited. However, one of our neighbors consistently smoked on the balcony which caused us to close our door a few times because the smoke was coming into our room. You can't tell which balcony it is coming from. Not NCL's fault, but people can be inconsiderate.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

Our room was great. We love the AFT balcony. A little more space to sit on balcony is worth the extra cost. Love that NCL's balcony doors slide open. Other cruise lines have doors that open inward, which causes a slam and prevents you from cracking the door open.
