Great Alaska cruise in all - fine weather - plenty of wildlife - and the Millennium was as expected. We ate in Blu every evening and most breakfasts. I very much appreciated the ambiance of the room over MDR. Meals were generally good although sometimes a bit overcooked and dry but that is just my opinion - others in our party of six commented on how much they liked their meals. We ended up eating dinner after the first show ended each evening, but had no problem getting seated.

I purposely did not take the "All you can Drink" amenity as that is what I would have done. that also removed the evening munchie factor so I ended up not gaining any weight on this cruise - although the amount of hiking we did during port stays may have helped also.

In general I would say that I have been spoiled by Aqua class. I'd have a hard time taking a lower inside cabin as I had usually done - although I did get it at a very reasonable price by checking constantly for price drops. Anyway in general I'll smile when I remember this trip.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

We had a plumbing problem in a few cabin's around and including ours. Maintenance fixed within a couple of hours. No problems with noise, bed was comfortable. I forgot about the "pillow menu" till we left, so I can't comment. Service was fine - We had new bottles of water replaced in our room if they were used - a surprise I did not expect. Canapes were hit and miss - guacamole with no crackers ? - but then a great smoked salmon treat. Loved the showers - makes me consider doing something similar at home......
