This was out ninth cruise on Carnival Lines. It was our 10th anniversary. We liked the Breeze as far as layout and amenities. We liked the upgrades, especially the Alchemy Bar. They had a musical group, The Night Shift, that was just amazing. Probably our favorite of any of the other cruises. The negatives were these - the meals in the Blush dining room were not up to the standards that we have experienced thus far. Also, we are disappointed that dress codes are not enforced. We had a special dinner booked in the Fahrenheit 555 dining room, at a cost of $150, for our anniversary dinner. We dressed in Cruise Elegant, as "required" on the reservation card. There were people in there dressed in shorts, ball caps, etc. Not elegant. Also, the tables were too close together and we felt very crammed in. Not the ambiance for a romantic dinner. The shrimp was terrible and the steak was dry. However, they did present us with a lovely dessert and champagne for our anniversary. We will not book that dinning room next cruise. It was certainly not worth the extra money.

Cabin Review

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8M

This was our third cruise in an aft corner cabin. The other cabins, on the conquest class ships, was much nicer. This cabin was not laid out in a comfortable manner. It seemed smaller than the other aft corner cabins that we have used. We will go with a stern cabin next time.
