Cabin: Large Balcony

This was our first time to Hawaii and we wanted to see as much as we could so we chose a cruise.

Embarkation and disembarkation: Both went smoothly, so that's a plus. When embarking, we had to wait about an hour until our cabin was ready so we had a drink to pass the time. We disembarked at our scheduled time (which we were able to choose) and our luggage was very easy to find. Another plus!

Ship: The ship was typical NCL. The passageways were narrow, but the stairs could easily fit 3 people across. This was handy since we rarely use elevators on board. We've been on some cruises that provide a credit-card size fold-out map of the ship; NCL didn't offer that, which made it a bit more difficult to get around. The biggest issue I had was that it seemed to be very cold in most areas of the ship. I usually like it cold (I keep the house AC set to about 70s most of the year), but this was ridiculous.

Cabin Review

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

Our balcony cabin seemed a bit smaller than other cruise lines, but the balcony itself was large enough for 2 chairs, 2 chaises and a small table (of course, we paid for the extra space). The bed was comfortable and we had just enough closet/drawer space to hold our stuff. The bathroom was clean and there was just enough room to hold our toiletries.
