We have always taken transatlantic cruise on other Princess ships and had great experiences. However on this cruise there were numerous issues.
-The first night in the dining room we were given 3 pats of butter at a table with four people.
the assistant waiter said he could not give us more because the supervisor was watching him.
-The service in the dining room was extremely slow. After ordering an appetizer it took 45 min. to arrive. By the end of the cruise we were eating at the buffet.
-The quality of the food has been down graded. We have been on 3 princess cruises since last Aug and could see a big difference.
-We always go to the Crown Grill on each cruise. However we were surprise to see that not only was the food of lesser quality, there was an additional charge over and above the $29 for any extras on the main menu of $10.
-For breakfast I always look forward to the corn-beef hash. This trip they changed the recipe and you could not recognize it as corn- beef it was more like creamed potatoes.
-Ice cream machine broken
-ran out of bacon
-ran out of cream for coffee
-Major rug installing all away across. Had an allergy to the material being used and needed medication and mask to wear.
-In-Room bathroom had an odor. We Left the door opened but this did not help.
-No place to play card with 7 days at sea.
Cabins we clean and well attended.
