Traveled with 4 couples that had already booked this cruise. We did not research the ship or the ports but relied on our friends recommendation for the cruise line and ship.

The Getaway was one of Norwegian's newest ships and in very good condition. Everything worked.

Downside, the ship did not handle 4,000 passengers well. Deck chairs were on top of each other. Quite crowded in the buffet and leaving the ship was a 30 minute serpentine line all over deck 7 until we were able to reach the gangplank. Read more
