10 of us took this Cruise out of N.Y. No Flying involved. Also had 3 older people with us.

Parking with a coupon was $ 300 a car. Check for coupons . Parked right at the ship. 9 am exactly. Use google GPS to get to the ship . Pretty easy. You have to wait with other passengers in a area it was hot, and people were not that nice that tell you to sit. Then they herd you thru to get to security. Security should be better. Then you sit again...little better..you can buy a snack and sign up for ship stuff. Give you a card with a number then you can board. Once on board you check out your room/boat... they do the live vest thing in the nice theaters. Ship is nice and clean. I got a balcony room big bed, balcony is big. bathroom was better than I thought it was going to be. nice art of the beach. Have a lot draws , Use the space under the bed to store your luggage. Other room I saw with the port window seemed ok also. Our room steward was awesome.. tipped him 10$ during the week and gave him another $25 at the end. Free coffee, snacks "real orange juice" in the morning, fill out the card leave it on the door, tip them a few bucks. I got room service twice, pizza is ok, turkey was good, Italian not so much. pool was nice, need more Jacuzzi`s always filled. Kids pretty much stayed out of the adult pools. can be crowded are the pool. Pool bars were great, Bartenders were awesome. Smoking at the upstairs bar. I smoke cigars, best time was before dinner and the pool bar pretty quite. there is a cigar room, needs bar, better pictures.. Magnum`s bar and the whole area is great. T.Vs, nice lounge chairs. spinnaker is cool...night club is ok... entertainment , Leo is good, nice guy. house band is not that great, some things they are ok with, other`s not....called great ideas...did the beetle's...bad idea... Need a real band on board. They have a lot of stuff for older people, jazz, big band stuff. Trivia ,bingo, karaoke, game show stuff. sports court needs to be bigger or they should have two. Comedians were good. They have a lot of shows. Food, the buffet was not great. Pacific dinning room was good. Cagney's had great filet , lobster bisque sucked,broth, crab cake awesome. Skip the surf just 3 shrimp grilled for 5 bucks, wine was good on the ship,coffee too. I`m from Cape cod had clam chowder is was the worse I ever had, broth. O`Sheehan`s is awful, bad bar food. soccer, NHL, NBA on T.V about it . Deserts are great. Get the lava cake ! tons of thing for kids, Wii , games. TIP for better service. Staff is over worked. Every Shrimp dish was great !
