This was a last minute cruise to meet some dear friends. Ship was initially sold out, but scored a balcony cabin after someone cancelled. We were in 6550 on deck six. Nice room, but very little storage. Sink area in the bath had very little space. Shower doors are nice, but unless you are a toothpick, don't drop anything in the shower. Very small. We were on a five day cruise, and room service never got our order straight in the morning. We always order two pots of coffee, and usually a fruit in the morning. How hard is that? Well, first morning, one pot. Second morning two pots, but no cups. continued like that the whole cruise! No room service on last morning.
Food was below average as far as I am concerned. Somewhat limited selection on Lido deck, with everything so spaced out, you had to walk forever to find something! (two condiment stations for 4000 passengers!) Food was bland and many entrees in the dining room tasted like pre packaged or frozen. Selection was limited also.
Staff was great, servers in dining room worked hard to help us enjoy the cruise. The ship itself is very nice. The promenade deck is very interesting, but seemed like everywhere we went there were someone trying to sell something. Flow rider and rock climbing wall were down for maintenance during sea day. (great planning!).
Cabin was nice and very comfortable. Cabin Steward (Dexter) did a great job in keeping our mess cleaned up!
