Sail Date: Nov 2016

We have become quite attached to Viking. Their ocean ships hold about 900 passengers, and one gets a feeling of uncrowdedness unlike the feel of ships with 3500 to 6000 guests. Viking has been in the ocean cruise business since 2015', so their ships are new. Staff seems to have worked the bugs out, and we had a very enjoyable time. Though we paid for a few excursions, Viking includes free excursions in every port. Beer and wine are included. We felt food was very good, again compared with other cruises we have gone on. Only one excursion, included, was substandarf, Barbados, as I recall. Another positive is that the fine-dining restaurants are included in the price. Other cruise lines we have used have higher end restaurants that cost extra. The included beer and wine is also a positive. The relatively smaller ship does not have much of a variety of retail shops, and those that are there are quite high end.

Cabin Review

Cabin Na

Nice that each cabin had a veranda. Also nice each cabin had a sofa. Appreciated the variety of TV options. Though relatively small, the cabin had sufficient room to move around.
