Sail Date: Nov 2016

We had never sailed on Viking and wanted to try a new line. We did not explore our departure city but did the Bacardi rum factory instead. Embarkation and disembarkation were very smooth. Getting through customs was very easy. The ship was beautiful, the staff were exemplary and the food was great. The salt shakers in the upstairs dining area need updated and the mini bar supply needs improved.. we would love to do Costa Rica and the Panama Canal just not sure if on Viking or another line.. We were pleased with the spa area- we had massages and took advantage of the Nordic spa room. We were a little disappointed with the main dining room - when we ate there the first night we were there for three hours with a lot of waisted time. The food food was not bad but the service needed improvement. Our experience with the Italian restaurant was the same the first night - service was not top notch. Overall the cruise was very nice and we would do Viking again. We would like to do a river cruise one day.

Cabin Review

The cabin was well maintained, clean and well kept.
