Dolphin in Dominica...Coming back from a whale watch shore excursion on a cloudy day, we encountered hundreds of dolphin playing. This photo of one solitary dolphin is my favorite.

The ship to ourselves on a back to back cruise....Day one out of San Juan. The new group of passengers has not gotten on yet. The pools were empty. It was a treat to have the ship basically to ourselves!

Gloomy start to Dominica...Average yearly rainfall along the windward east coast frequently exceeds 196.9 in, and exposed mountainsides receive up to 354.3 in, among the highest accumulations in the Caribbean and the world. So chances are, you will get rain in Dominica!

Sunrise as we approach St Thomas...It appears to have a double sun. The top sun is the real one; the bottom one is a beam of light from the sun through the clouds. It was dazzling.
