We are elite members with princess , this was our 35th princess cruise and noticed they are cutting out more and more of the little things that have made princess our favourite cruiseline. Nolonger can have a little pair of slippers unless you book a suite, they probably cost less than6 dollors. No longer can have chocolate covered strawberries on formal night unless you pay an extra 8 dollors for 6 Berry's. You now have to ask for robes in room. While you still receive complimentary wine tasting no longer give the little servineer shot glass.and the great selection of donuts no longer exists they only have iced donuts 1 day a week, of passengers asked what happened? The prices have also gone up for coffee cards, specialty restaurants, and drinks the seem to contain less alcohol. in the dinning room service was slow and the Head waters walked around oblivious to any problems, and when you asked the waiter you have the Head water come over it was like why are you bothering me,and if you asked him to check on any thing he never came back till the last night looking for an extra tip.
I personally feel that since they have went to automatically deducting tips service has gone down hill, next cruise I will stop the automatic change and tip in cash for the service provided
While our cabin was listed as obstructed it wasn't it was right in the center of the ship with a larger balcony than most. However we had to ask the roomsteward to have carpet vacuumed and to wipe off balcony which was filthy. Had to ask for more barsoap for the shower it must be expensive.
Not a lot to see in the town only had two stops to shops with very little and a church in town center. Much more shopping at new area by dock and great restaurant and bar there along with swimming and a zip line
