The Jade does need a upgrade of it's decor. Overall a good deal for the money. Shore Excursions pricey you should be able to book your own independtly for about half of what the ship charges. On Costa Maya Native Choice does an excellent job. food as expected was good but nothing over the top, any more all cruise lines want you to upgrade to there specialty restaurants (for an additional $$$). Service was better than average most of the time, though bar service was slow no matter where we went. The biggest disappointment was Harvest Caye !!! for all the hype NCL has had about this island, we were left questioning if we had gone to the wrong island. We did like see that that they had a lot of lifeguards at the beach and the childrens area was great if you hod kids - saw at least 3 lifeguards in that area. swim up bar ok if thats what you like. For what you get for the $$.this cruise is worth it.
