One of the many, many Elvis themed doors we saw.

Booked onto a Vision Of The Seas 7 Night Western Caribbean Cruise with stops in Roatan, Honduras; Belize City, Belize; Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico; and Cozumel, Mexico starting and ending in Tampa (I live just over an hour away from the port). For me, cursing is more of a "where is it going" rather than "being on the ship" so the itinerary making stops in both Belize and Honduras was the selling point. We accidentally booked onto an ELVIS tribute fan club cruise, it was pretty strange. Inadvertently we also booked ourselves onto a cruise that would overlap with Valentine's Day (oops) but outside of not being able to get seats for any of the premium dinning that one night, it didn't really affect us.... Although it was very couple-ly, outside of maybe 10 families we saw and my group. And there were also very few kids on board. Outside of the families, we were pretty much the youngest people on board. When we first got inside the ship, I saw an older man dressed very... "Disco" like.. it was strange but I didn't really think anything of it. As the day went on I saw more and more and lots of 'Elvis Hair' and women with shirts on that had either the name Elvis or a picture of Elvis. Well, we later found out it was indeed an Elvis cruise and that we, and a few other families had just inadvertently booked into it. Over the course of the trip we saw several Elvis impersonators making their rounds and even performing around the ship... While I didn't really care, I found it extremely funny. It also meant that some of the scheduled shows or events had been either replaced with Elvis things or just removed altogether so I gave the Entertainment box an "average" vote.

This also meant that some areas of the already smaller ship, were restricted to those participating in the Elvis convention / dealers room and convention type things, so some public areas were restricted.

"The Boutiques of Centrum" area, the shopping promenade, was the only dreary part of the ship. It felt so uninteresting and uninviting, basic.

Cabin Review

Interior Stateroom

Cabin N

Small room, no couch or table, but it was fine for the amount of time spent in it, basically only in the room to sleep... the rest of the time we were out and about walking around the ship or enjoying the ports. I'd have no issue staying in the same room again.

Port Reviews

Tampa

Just a basic port. I live in Orlando so there was no need to explore around here, I've been to Tampa hundreds of times. Although if I was a visitor, I would stop at the Florida Aquarium located right at the port, its pretty nice and I've visited three times.
