Chose this cruise because of the itinerary. The ports of call were places we had not visited before. On the the 4th or 5th day we were unable to go to Kotor, Montenegro as it was very windy and the captain felt it would be unsafe to sail to this port so on the day before he made arrangements to dock at Dubrovnik, Croatia which was a wonderful port and we truly enjoyed walking through the old city. The cruise line was even able to arrange 3 excursions at the last minute.
The food and specialty restaurants which were included were fabulous. Our friends had lobster almost every evening. The service was excellent throughout the ship. The only downsides were, poor entertainment in the evening, bottles of wine were expensive with nothing less than $47 per bottle, the excursions were expensive and the transfers especially in Venice were very expensive so we booked our own at 1/3 the cost. Would definitely choose Oceania again, especially the Riviera or Marina.
Cabin was spacious and enjoyed the privileges of the concierge class.
Saw the country side and 2 small cities
Interesting salt flats tour
