Being avid cruisers, we have experienced all major cruise lines.
It's time to try Oceania Riviera that is new to us.
The ship is well maintained.
What we liked: the Atrium, the Horizon observation lounge.
So-so things: a single pool for 1250 passengers.
What we did not like at all: inconvenient theater with low ceiling, no promenade deck, no open views forward, spa facilities (thalassotherapy pool) leaves much to be desired.
Spacious enough for 2 persons.
Sheer size balcony.
Some places are really enjoyable (the library).
The food overall was excellent. It was not the best food we had on a cruise ship, but still excellent.
Four specialty restaurants are included in the price. Do not miss the French restaurant.
Spectacular afternoon tea in the Horizons.
The crew was very attentive throughout the ship.
Nothing to write home about.
Excellent. This is why we booked this cruise. Unfortunately the weather was dreadful for almost three days. We even missed one port of call. October is not the best time for cruising in the Mediterranean.
Value for Money
We had a really good deal (end of season), so we rate it 4 out of 5.
Otherwise it is 3 out of 5.
