Sail Date: Oct 2016

We sailed with two other couples and loved every minute of our cruise experience. Especially loved our Zumba, line dancing and belly dancing classes. Wish there had been a dance class every day. Our first port of call was Newport and loved the excursion visiting the mansions. Learnt heaps about life at the turn of the 20 th century. Liked the fact that we arrived in port early each day and had enough time to visit the sights. Fun riding in the tenders. Although it was too cold to enjoy being on deck or swimming in the pool, it didn't matter as we were in port most of the time. The highlight was the evening entertainment. First class. We had incredible comedy shows and, "Bravo" an amazing show with costumes to die for and the singing left us breathless. Included Australian operatic singer who was superb. The cruise staff put on a great show too. At night we enjoyed entertainment in the wheelhouse bar explorers lounge and were brave enough to dance some Latin rumba and Cha cha. The only down side was that the majority of passengers were well over 60, most seemed in their 70s but as we were with friends it didn't matter too much.

Boston

We had already visited Boston so did the African American Heritage Trail which was with a guide from national state park and was FREE!! Fabulous.

New York (Manhattan)

We had six days in New York prior to cruising and needed at least another two days to do it justice.
