we spent three nights in New York before embarking on the norwegian Gem,everything went smooth at the port we were onboard within 30mins,as soon as we arrived ,we was shown where to have lunch while our cases were brought on.Our cabin was a balcony which was big enough for us both.It was clean and tidy and had all the amedities coffee maker,iron,hairdryer etc etc.the dining was Excellent,entertainment first class.we visited four ports of call,Halifax in Nova Scotia where it rained all day but didn,t damp our spirits,ST johns was beautiful .Portland Maine was also very charming a lovelly little town,Best of all was Newport Rhode Island,with its Quaint streets and houses,Beautiful Mansions where we visited the ELMS,this is a tender port where they put you in the ships boats and ferry you to the dock ,the Wife,s face a picture .All in all we had a fabulous time and we will be booking with Norwegian again
