Cabin: Aqua Class

We had heard good things about Celebrity but sadly it did not live up to them. We booked Aqua Class for the so called exclusive Blu restaurant at which you just turn up - no need to book. What they did not make clear was that there was not enough tables for all the Aqua class guests, so 5 nights out of the 11 we turned up and were given a bleeper and told to go away until a table became free - totally unacceptable when we had paid extra for exclusivity. We dined elsewhere for 2 nights so only 3 nights out of 11 could we 'just turn up'. When challenged as to why we could not reserve a table we were told its not company policy. Ha! The safety drill was a farce - we got held up in one of the lounges for nearly an hour while they were looking for people who hadn't turned up - not our fault but not allowed to leave. The disembarkation was a mess - no instructions where to go and no-one at the portside to check in with for our transfer. On

the first day we booked a shore excursion we arrived at the assembly point and only then told we needed our passports to go ashore - no warning beforehand. As we were as far away on the ship as you could possibly be without falling into the sea this involved a run the entire length of the ship - twice!
