We have joined a land tour with Scenic a few years back and that was one of the best we have. So when we looked for a river cruise in Europe, we decided to go for Scenic again, and it did not disappoint us.

The ship, the meals and the service is excellent. Of course you cannot expect you can get the same type of entertainment on the ship as with those ocean cruisers due to the limit of space on the ship. But still, the few entertainment performance was great. The size of the cabin is a bit tight, as they have cut out a bit of space to make room for a balcony which we think is a great idea. Still, though tight, it is not too small when compare with some of the cruise liners.

Not all shore excursions are top notch, (may be we have set the bar a bit high), but on average, they are still very good, with a couple of them are really excellent. Read more
