I had a great experience 12 years ago with Norwegian Dawn when it first came out and thought things would be the same this time, I was wrong. I received horrible customer service, I was away from my family members, my cabin was unclean (when I arrived). I had to changed rooms twice(not enough beds to accommodate my family) due to poor communication from manager. The toilet in my room was malfunctioned, would not stop flushing woke me up from sleep. Loud construction noises awaked me everyday between 5-6 o'clock.
I had a wonderful stateroom steward who was kind and polite. There were a lot of activities to choose from, dining was great. I enjoyed the choices of food. I dislike buying expensive water(to me that was a rip off), but had to. I did not like the fact that the cruise line had to decide who gets my daily service charge. I felt like my rights were taken away. The private island was nice including the shore excursions. My children did not enjoy the cruise much because of the proximity of family members' room . I will definitely not go on any of NCL's cruises.
