Was excited to be on a new cruise ship. The ship itself is beautiful, with many amenities and things to do. 5000 passengers is too much. Long lines at the buffets, uncaring US passengers dropping food and leaving it on floors and carpets, eating like it's their last meal (multiple plates, lots of food wasted) even though they are grossly overweight, and just plain loud and rude.

Staff is nice, shore excursions are overpriced, daily cost of internet access is exorbitant. You will be attracted to the cruise based on the great price, but after tips, extras, and drinks expect to pay at least double of what your ticket prices were....or more.

Main dining room menu's were adequate, but simple and boring. Best food on the ship was the pizzeria and Guys Burger Joint. If you drink, buy the unlimited plan. It's expensive, but cheaper than spending $8.95 per drink, plus tips. Unlimited Bubbles is a great value.

Cabin 6B

Comfortble beds, nice closets, nice bathroom.

Port Reviews

Barcelona

Great city to see on your own. Metro and bus system are efficient. Easy to walk around and enjoy the sites.

Crete (Heraklion)

A day on a Greek Island with lots of touristy vendors and restaurants.

Rhodes

A day on a Greek Island with lots of touristy vendors and restaurants.

Athens (Piraeus)

Athens is a pit! Filthy, dirty, trash, broken glass, and dog feces everywhere you walk. Transit workers staged strikes closing down the port and some trains. Local merchants in touristy areas are desperate for sales and hawk you if you show any interest in their shops.
