We're fourth time Carnival Cruisers. Maybe we need to change companies as our cruise was good, very good, just nothing new or different.

I made my reservation, balcony guarantee, over a year ago. I know the ship was "full", but my cabin location was just okay. I guess you get only what you pay for on a full ship cruise; no upgrading. First year on spring break we got upgraded to a suite, second and third spring breaks, we had VERY nice balcony rooms in very good locations. This year in cabin 8201, we could not see to the left at all because of the extension where they "drive" the ship. I guess they have to have that thing. We got lots of exercise coming and going to wherever we needed to go being clear at the end.

We had friends traveling with us who didn't make their reservation until December. We wanted to have dinner together and we were wait listed for early dinner. We ended up getting early dinner which was a good thing. The food was also typical Carnival. Nothing great, nothing awful. The chocolate melting cake is just awesome and one thing that definitely should not be changed. One course has been deleted as starters and salad are in one category. Just order what you want no problem.

Cabin Review

Cabin Bal

From cabin 8201 we could not see in front of the ship, but the cabin was fine.
