We were looking to take a trip to London/Paris and rather than fly, opted to take a cruise.
The ship was wonderful and can't think of bad thing to say about the ship, staff or experience. Best part of the ship was the solarium where we spent most of our days, though at times it did get too warm. They have a small theater for movies but we never got to see any. It seemed the scheduling of showtimes was just not suitable for us. No showtimes all day, but then they might have one at dinner time or conflicting with theater show schedules or just too late for us.
Embarkation and debarkation were both easy peasy. We did two ship provided shore excursions, one in Lisbon Spain and one in le Havre. The Lisbon excursion was just okay and seemed to focus more on forts than any other city highlights. In Le Havre we took trip to Versailles which in itself is magnificent, but the trip was pricey - best part of $500 for two of us.
Cabin was adequate and what's not to like about a balcony! Even though it was "obstructed view" (tops of lifeboats at floor level) we had a great view. Drawer space was somewhat limited (3) but there was plenty of other storage including a bank of cupboards over the bed. Bathroom was even a good size. Nice to also have a sofa
Did not take an excursion so what is there to "review"
