Awesome Alaska on the Millennium

A trip to Alaska has long been on our bucket list and the eight night cruise on the Millennium together with a five night Celebrity land tour largely met our expectations. Apart from a couple of relatively inclement days we had wonderful weather throughout and were, of course, blown away by the sheer beauty and splendour of the Alaskan landscapes that unfolded before us each day. The overall experience, even accounting for the exhaustingly long distances we had to travel to and back from Alaska across ten time zones, was an enjoyable and memorable one and we can easily see why Alaska is such a popular cruise and land touring destination.
