I sailed first time with NCL with my aunt, her husband and their adult daughter(my cousin). This was my third cruise. I found out i was going just a month ahead. I flew by myself to Barcelona and met my relatives there at the airport. We stayed at the Gaudi hotel one night and the next afternoon we boarded the Norwegian Epic. The employees at the desk were really nice and everything went smoothly.
I didn't go to the teen zone until a couple days into the cruise since i thought it would be empty, turns out it wasn't that empty. The staff was so nice and funny and the activities turned out to be really fun. I liked that they were strict about no adults or under 13 years old and that they had 13-17 years in the same group.
The food was really good too, but i do think RC have better food onboard but that might just be me. We tried all te resturants and i liked Taste the best, i thought the food was best there and the service as well. At the Manhattan room the service was pretty slow.
Walked by ourselfes into the city and wandered around, saw a few museums. Worked out great.
Took the bus to the Gaudi park and walked around. Saw the magic fountain at night which was really beautiful. Also saw the picasso museeum.
