This was my first time to cruise with Carnival. I had previously cruised on Royal Caribbean. My experience on carnival was less than expected. The food at the buffet was far below par, eggs tasted like instant eggs, everything was extremely greasy, not much in the way of any kind of vegetable, unless it was smothered in breading or grease. Dinner wasn't as bad, but slightly disappointing that on formal night steak and lobster was not offered on the dinner menu.

Food is normally the focal point of any cruising experience, but not with carnival. It was never exciting to see what was going to be offered. The daily selections on the buffet never changed and if you truly wanted something fresh, you had to wait in an extremely long line for omelets or Mexican burritos and tacos. Most nights, the midnight pizza was burned.

Nightly entertainment was the best thing offered up each day. Truly enjoyable!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin interior handicap room

The room was not setup for a king as requested, I had to hunt down the room steward to make the change, which he did promptly. Once the change was made the room was too small to move around once the wheelchair was in the room. Now the bathroom on the other hand was fantastic. Plenty of room to shower and a seat to use as well. Loved the shower.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Had a wonderful time, once we arrived at the location. Took longer than I would have liked to get everyone checked in and ready to leave in port.
