We had 8 women cruising together and we had a great time. Our room steward Tapas greeted us when we checked in and was very attentive throughout - even helped us to plan a birthday surprise for one of our group that was staying in a different room. The bartenders @ the Drama Bar were the best, especially Savio!!
We didn't eat in the dining room for all our meals, but the few times we did, the servers were very attentive & remembered our names. The shows were great (live music & comedy shows), shops had some really good deals. The casino was hit or miss - some of the dealers were very stand-offish, but some were very engaging. One night we had to wait a bit for our meal in the main dining room, then the next day, we had a "I'm Sorry" tray of goodies delivered to all of our rooms. I was very impressed.
My only problem with the room was that it only had 1 outlet - I'll bring a power strip next time. If you have the opportunity to sail the Elation, please make sure you stop by the Drama Bar (by the casino) - those guys are great and the live music shows were fun as well.
Beds were very comfortable, I just wish there were more electrical outlets.
I did the stand-up paddleboard & snorkeling. The SUP was a bit challenging, but the guide worked w/ everyone to ensure that we could all do it. The water was beautiful, pictures available for purchase were exceptional quality. Great guides.
We spent a few hours walking around N. Orleans when we disembarked. Bourbon Street was really dirty (I wouldn't take kids there), but the rest was beautiful.
