This is my third cruise on RC and I am spoiled! All I have ever had was a large balcony or a Junior Suite. Drove down to my sisters in Tampa 2 days before, that Friday we + two other family members drove over to Ft. Lauderdale stayed at the Sheridan on University had a suite, great hotel very confortable and the price was lower than some of the inferior hotels closer to port. Drove to port early got on the ship early as this was a working cruise for her. She had a group of 150 on this cruise. Everything went smoothly. We were delayed a bit leaving because of a medical emergancy and they had to take someone off and to the hospital.( Hope there are OK)

Our cabin was fantastic Junior Suite 9544- Lavern our cabin steward was a lovely young ladie from Jamica, very efficant and we did not have to ask for anything. Beds were so comfortable had extra pillows :) We had my time dining @ 8:00 pm on Deck 5 in the King Lear dining room. Our servers were Dinah and Turkessa and they were by far the best we have ever had. They remembered that we liked unsweetened tea and lemon and it was served without asking. Also our bottles of wine, we had extended family with us so that added to the fun dining experience. The food was fantastic. Beef tenderloin that sliced like butter. Lobster tails that were delicious. The chicken marsala was very salty I don't recommend it. But other wise food was great and as much as you want.

This as I said was a working cruise so I cant speak about entertainment except for the band on the pool deck thay were very good. We skiped Belize because my sister had injured her ankle and knee a couple of days befor the trip. We were going to do Sharks and Rays but thought getting on and off boats would be to difficult for her. She was using a cain to walk. Our other 2 family members went on a jungle hike and cave tubing and had a blast! In Cozumel we did our own thing which is catching a taxie $35.00 US for 5 people each way down to Playa Palencar beach its about a 20 minute or so drive This is old Mexico style. The beach is fantastic food and drink served right on the beach. They have the best guacamole and chips. All freshley made. I also had shrimp quesadilla, fantastic and ice cold beers. Our friend had a shrimp coctail- they are served in an old fashion milkshake style glass with coctail sauce probebly a dozen good size shrimp. They have umbrellas at the lounge chairs and charge $ 10.00 US for them greatly needed with the strong sun. Water was crystal clear. Over all everything was great hated to leave.
