This was not our first cruise and compared to the others we were on, it was very disappointing. We were not impressed with the food. Selections were very repetitious, often not hot and not that tasty on the Lido Deck. There were more selections at lunch but many of them were closed at dinnertime. Food was offered by the pool during the day but closed around 5:00 p.m. Often sounded like some tasteful food was served at 10:00 pm for those who wanted to stay up late. Portions in the dining room were very small. I suppose you could order 2 servings but then why should you have to? We were so tired of the poor food at dinner in the Lido, we resorted to Room Service which was better. At least it was hot.

We also found entertainment was lacking while on the ship. The stage shows were o.k. but nothing special. Again, repetitious the first few days. We found ourselves going to Art Auctions just for something to do! Of course the Casino was open while we were sailing but that isn't a spot where one wants to spend a lot of time.

Our Room Stewards were wonderful. The dining room and Lido staff were very courteous but the staff serving the Entrees in the Lido were very pushy. We hardly had a chance to see what our choices were and they were saying, "What else do you want? What else do you want? Perhaps passengers should be allowed to serve themselves so they can make a choice.

Cabin Review

Neptune Deluxe Verandah Suite

Our cabin was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. It was a handicapped suite and I felt safe using the bathroom shower, etc.
