We have just returned from a 7 night Greek Island cruise on the Jade. We really enjoyed our cruise, this was our second cruise and we could not fault NCL Jade. We had a balcony suite it was surprising large with plenty of wardrope space hangers etc. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very big too we liked the fact that you could have a bath or shower, the shower had good power. There is dispensers with shower gel & shampoo (no conditioner) and a dispenser with hand soap in the bathroom. The hairdryer was fantastic, not one of these you find in Hotels theses days. We got on the ship in Venice there was a little walk to get to the ship. We were on the ship within minutes it was very easy process before we knew it we were enjoying lunch and a drink. Our cabin was ready and our luggage was waiting outside within an hour or less. The captain took us around Venice the sight was stunning, St Marks Sq etc. We had the breverage package included in our cruise we purchased the dining package, we opted for the 4 pack. We tried the Bistro Teppanyaki, Moderno and Cagneys, I think Cagney's was our favourite but we were glad we sampled most of them It's a pity you have to pay a premium as I don't think these restaursants warrant a charge. Our opinion only! We were glad we had the beverage package as the drinks are very expensive as are all cruise ships A glass of wine $8.50 a bottle of beer $5.95, you are charged 18% service charge on all drinks. If you buy the drinks package it is $58 per person per day. The water is $5.95 per bottle, my tip would be to make sure you take bottled water on board with you and buy it when you get off at the ports of call. We did not sit by the main pool it was too crowded you could see the same people in the same beds every day! We used the quiet section on the top deck we always found a lounger no matter what time we would go up there. The buffet was good we preffered the main dining rooom for lunch when it was open. We dined in the Jasmine Garden (Asian ) one night we really enjoyed it, you need to be early as it seemed to be a favourite with lots of people. it opens from 5.30- 9.30pm. There was plenty of entertainment on board, the elements show was very enjoyable as was Juan who played the piano in the Magnums bar most nights. All the staff were lovely we did not meet one member of staff that was not friendly or unhelpful. The ship was kept spotless in all areas. If you are thinking of booking I would suggest you do as you will not be sorry, we had a lovely time and would not hesitate to recommend NCL to our family & friends. We are looking forward to the next one already!

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin MX 11092
Our cabin was a balcony suite mid ship. It was clean comfortable with plenty of storage. We were very happy with the service we received from Jacob our cabin attendant.
