This was our 10th cruise since 1998. This was our second cruise with Celebrity (the first in 2000) and have previously cruised with Windstar, Azamarra, Holland America and NCL. Although we prefer smaller ships we decided to give this a try considering the many positive reviews and Celebrity's positioning as a premium large ship line.

The ship is beautiful and very clean. Our balcony stateroom was spacious and comfortable. The entertainment was great, with the exception of a guitar and laser show that was just plain weird. We dined at the "regular" dining room every evening and found the food to be in the 3 to 4 star range as we expected from Celebrity. We enjoy our wine but found the selection to be absolutely minimal in the sub $50 range. Most bottles were in the $75-125 range, which we were not willing to go for. Service was excellent everywhere on the ship and everybody was super nice, except for guest relations (more on that later)

So why the average score, why won't we cruise with Celebrity again?
