Overall the cruise was good. Embarking the ship went well there was a friendly staff member to greet us just as we were about to board the ship. There were not alot of interesting activities since gambling for $$ is illegal in Hawaii (includes bingo and casinos ) - the lei making class, the movie trivia and the fitness center were the only activities of interest. The pools were small and always crowded. Finding an empty desk chair could be a challenge sometimes. Dining in the Skyline restaurant was the best place to eat meals. The aloha cafe was always crowded and there were long lines at many of the stations. The dining experience in the aloha cafe was 'forgettable'.
Our cabin was smaller than most cruise lines but the patio was well worth paying the extra costs. I enjoyed watching the sun rises every morning. The cabin attendant was nice and the room was always kept clean.
The entertainment was average - I've seen bigger/glitzier shows on other cruise lines.
Rooms were small but clean. Pack lightly as there is very little drawer space but plenty of closet space. We had connecting rooms but the door that connected our room was very heavy and required some 'muscle' to open it. Forward ship location was a great location if you visit the theaters often.
