This was our sixth cruise, 3rd with NCL. My wife has a handicap and so they made the embarkation process very easy for us. Throughout the cruise, the crew was fabulous; friendly, happy, helpful. If getting a balcony, we recommend deck 10, very quiet. We were in the aft section, would probably do mid another time. We had no complaints with the room and the balcony was a nice size (bigger than Breakaway's). The Breakaway had MUCH better entertainment tho. The casino also better on BA; Gem's slots don't pay.
The acrobats were far and away the best show. The cast tries but is just so-so. Second City was okay. Magica, forget it. The bar acts were just average. We had our breakfasts at the buffet. Don't listen to those who whine about seats because there are plenty in the aft section. The meals were very repetitive. Lunch was better tho, especially the pasta cooking station. We ate all but one of our dinners in Great Pacific. None of the meals were amazing but also we were never disappointed. If you get Ida from Indonesia as your waiter, say hi for us; great guy. They need to lose the dress policy for GP. The head guy hassled me one night for wearing dress shorts instead of long pants but said nothing to many others. Ate at Magenta one night; noisy, crowded, not as friendly.
We got the free drink package; good choice. Bartenders were very good. Cruise director DanDan and the Captain are a riot. The 4:15 pier party by the crew at Nassau was lots of fun. If on the ship, watch this from the Promenade. Didn't do any excursion at Port Canaveral. Not worth the money and driving time. We liked their private island. We absolutely loved Blue Lagoon in Nassau!
No complaints. Balcony a nice size.
If handicapped, they treat you very well.
We enjoyed it more on Breakaway. We went out too far on mats this time and struggled to get back in, no one noticed.
