Just returned from 10 days around the canaries . Ship nice looking and everything was crisp as you would expect from a new ship. Have cruised with royal Caribbean many times and could not fault them. UNTIL NOW. As far as I am concerned and was the general consensus aboard the ship was they have upgraded the gimmicks and down graded the service . It was appalling . Service was slow or non existent . Sat on the deck on many occasions sometimes for up to 1.5 hrs and did not see one waiter so had to go to the bar and queue for15 minutes!. Booked excursions and they left late and returned early and when I complained all I got was sorry it wasn't our fault it was the port authorities . Well guess what it wasn't my fault either but I was still charged full price and told I would not received a refund , partial or otherwise.. Also do not supply ANY COFFEE in the stateroom only tea. Like it or leave it.. This ship was not customer orientated and being a seasoned cruiser I would have to think very very long and hard before I booked with them again. This is just a few of the issues we had do deal with and I have made an official complaint to Royal Caribbean and await their response . I am not a furnickity serial complainer but I do not want to come home stressed and in need of a holiday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
