Sail Date: May 2015
Cabin: Inside Stateroom 9

This was our 20th Celebrity cruise, we are Elite Plus Captain's Club members and this was probably one of our most disappointing Celebrity cruises.

Overall the food and service was not nearly as good as in the past and also the lack of enforcement of dress code in the Main Dining Room as well as Captain Club events really put a sour taste in our mouths.

My husband and I like the traditional way of cruising. We always select Traditional Late (Second) Seating in the Main Dining Room. We were assigned a table for 8 which is what we asked but on night 1 and 2 there were only 4 of us. During dinner on night 2 the other couple said "we have bought a specialty dining package for 3 nights". Well there's only 5 nights left so that means my husband and I would be sitting alone, which is just not what we wanted.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom 9

Cabin 09

We booked a guaranteed inside cabin and were given a category 9 on deck 8 forward so I called our travel agent and asked to be moved down to deck 7 and more mid-ship. Our cabin itself was great, clean and in a good location.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Embarkation and Disembarkation were very easy in the new port. Unfortunately parking is farther away and you needed a shuttle to get to and from parking lot.

King's Wharf

Did not do anything but walk around the dockyard as weather was so bad. The dockyard has really been built up over the years and it's easy to kill a day here.
